The Internet Village Idiots.

Before the internet, every village had a retarded village idiot who was ignored by everybody. In this internet age, all village idiots converged to a massive group and spread their nonsense. Now, other people don't see one idiot ranting and seeding panic, but a whole group saying the same thing. Then, the normal people start to think 'Well, if so many people say this, there must be some sort of truth in it'. This is where it all goes wrong.
